SimplyLifeQuotes ("we," "us") is operated by an independent licensed life insurance agent. This policy explains what information we collect when you request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.
The short version: we collect what we need to find you accurate life insurance quotes, we use it to prepare your options and call you about them, we share it only with insurance carriers when you apply, and we never sell your information. We also never send your personal or health details to advertising platforms.
Information we collect
When you complete a quote request, you provide:
- Contact and identity details: name, date of birth, gender, phone number, email address, and state of residence.
- Coverage preferences: the type of policy, the coverage amount or monthly budget you want, term length, and the purpose of the coverage.
- Health information: height and weight, tobacco or nicotine use, medical conditions you report, medications, and recent hospitalizations. Insurance carriers require this to determine eligibility and pricing.
- Underwriting background: existing coverage, intended beneficiary, citizenship or residency status, DUI or felony history, and hazardous occupations or hobbies.
- Anything else you tell us in the notes field or on a call.
We also automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and which advertisement or search result sent you here.
How we use your information
- To match you with the insurance carriers and products you are most likely to qualify for.
- To prepare a preliminary quote estimate.
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your request and your options.
- To submit an application to a carrier on your behalf, if you choose to move forward.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To comply with insurance regulations and other legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to serve you:
- Insurance carriers and their underwriters, when you apply for coverage. Their own privacy policies govern what they do with it.
- Service providers who host this website and deliver our internal lead notifications, strictly so we can operate the service.
- When legally required, such as in response to lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
Advertising and analytics
We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors find and use this site, to measure whether our advertising works, and to show ads to people who visited but did not finish a quote. These tools use cookies and similar technologies.
Important: we have deliberately configured these tools so that no name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or health information is ever sent to Meta or Google. They receive only anonymous activity — for example, that someone started or completed a quote request — never who you are or what you told us about your health.
You can limit ad targeting directly through Meta's ad preferences, Google's ad settings, or optout.aboutads.info. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
Phone and text messages
When you submit a quote request and check the consent box, you agree that a licensed agent may call, text, or email you about your request — including through automated dialing technology — at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by telling us on a call, replying STOP to a text, or contacting us at the address below.
How we protect your information
This site is encrypted with HTTPS, and quote submissions are transmitted securely. We limit access to your information to the agent serving you. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests as long as needed to serve you and to meet insurance recordkeeping and legal requirements. You may request deletion at any time, subject to records we are legally obligated to retain.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you gave us, ask us to stop contacting you, or withdraw your consent to be called or texted. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. To exercise any of these, contact us using the information below. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
